We are all buzzing with excitement as Mark’s new hive has officially appointed their new queen! 👑
We were happy to see four queen cells on the comb. They were all on the centre which is the perfect location for the proper completion of the queen’s development. 🐝
It was a relief to see that the cells were not built on the edges, which could have indicated swarm cells (see image below!).
The whole team are looking forward to seeing how the bees react moving forward and how the hive’s dynamics change – stay tuned for more updates!
