Beautiful sunrises, crisp, white grass and hedgerows.
Our barn owl couple were active which bodes well for some babies this year! We put up some new owl boxes last season – while she’s occupied with her chicks the female often kicks the male out of the house (there are parallels everywhere) so we felt we should give him some nice alternative, temporary housing.
The hares are getting amorous – they’ve clearly decided not to wait until March this year.
Four roe deer, buzzards, heron, song thrush and lots of other birds – lots of rabbits too, although Myxomatosis has been seen again recently these all looked pretty healthy.
Quick check on the cattle (all looking well) and then back for some tea.
